	Warriors Place 3rd at Conference! I think the Amery Warriors suprised some people at the Middle Border Conference meet on Saturday with their third place finish. It was a rewarding end to the coference season and the hard work and conditioning the participants have endured this season are starting to show through. Amery had 4 individuals in the finals: Jake Bump, Dustin Green, Mike Bump, and Johnny Novak. Mike Bump was the sole Warrior champion on Saturday. I cannot stress enough what an accomplishment this was for this group of individuals. Hopefully this will stress a precident for years to come. The tournament season in the state of Wisconsin starts this saturday (2/12/05) as Amery will host one of the regional wrestling tournaments throughout the state. The top two individuals in each weight class move on to the sectional tournament, and the winning team will represent the region at the team sectional duals on Tuesday. Come support the Warrior wrestlers this Saturday at home. We look forward to seeing you.	Warriors Qualify Four to Sectionals The Amery Warriors qualified four wrestlers to the WIAA individual sectional meet en route to a third place team finish at the regional tournament. Osceola was the team winner and will represent the region at the team sectional meet on Tuesday (2/15/05). Qualifying for the Warriors were Jake Bump at 103#, Mike Bump at 119#, Johnny Novak at 145#, and Thad Betzold at 215#. The sectional meet will be held at Osseo-Fairchild high school this Saturday (2/19/05). All wrestlers competing in the individual sectional tournament must finish in the top three places to move on to the state tournament in Madison.
