Pierce County Welcome & Heritage Center in Prescott, WI
The Welcome & Heritage Center is in downtown Prescott right beside the bridge bringing people into Wisconsin from Minnesota. Those arriving by water will find the Center just footsteps from a public dock. Free maps and traveler information are available at the Center along with displays depicting aspects of the fascinating history of this river and farm community which was the earliest European settlement in Pierce County. The building housing the Center is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
