REVISED TOWN DOG ORDINANCE - The Town Board has received many complaints regarding dogs running
loose. Our Town Constable, Charles Anderson will be working closely with the Douglas County Sheriff s Department
in order to take action when a dog is reported. Charles can be contacted at 399-8203 if you wish to make a report.
Cell phone is 349-1995.
Most dog complaints are concerning garbage bags that are torn up and garbage strewn around. However, the Town
also feels it is the responsibility of the resident to put out garbage for pickup in the appropriate steel or heavy
plastic garbage cans with lids. Putting out plastic bags is not appropriate. Another suggestion was to put your
garbage out the morning of the pickup day rather than the night before. It has also been reported that birds tear
apart garbage bags. In order to keep our Town clean, please do all you can to prevent this situation.
