This weeks movie review:

HANCOCK

   I did not know what to expect from this movie.  I loved the movie and felt that I was in the middle of the action and part of the plot line. I give it 5 out of 5 m&m's.

    Will Smith plays an superhero who is rarely sober, down on his luck, depressed, and has real consequences for his superhero actions.  He needs some good PR. In comes Ray (Jason Bateman), rescued by Hancock (Will Smith) from a train wreck. They work together and change his image from an unpopular drunk superhero to a heroic guard of the city.

    The special effects are amazing. Some scenes may be objectionable to younger children as well as language throughout the movie. Outside of these considerations, this movie offers humour, action and an interesting and unique point of view.

Kung Fu Panda

     I had hoped for another great animated feature, but Kung Fu Panda did not deliver completely. I give this movie 3 out of 5 M&M's because it lacked in good music and Asian authenticity.  The main character was good but not great, the supporting characters were the most interesting. The evil charactor was not that evil.

     Having said all that, it is still a movie worth seeing.

     I will be doing more reviewing not that I am not so busy with school work.
