Monthly Meetings

We meet the third Monday of every month at 7:00 p.m. in the Government Center in Hudson Wi. Use the lower south entrance to the bldg. We start with a brief SCVRA meeting followed by the RACES meeting, we attempt to keep both meetings limited to only one hour. We will then follow up with speakers or programs at the end of the RACES meeting. If you need directions please ask during the net, immediately following the net or email us. Everyone is welcome.

Saturday Breakfasts

Weekly Breakfast get-togethers are held every Saturday at about 7:45 AM. These weekly gatherings are currently being held at the Southfork Cafe' in River Falls. Take Interstate 94 to Exit #3. Proceed South to River Falls (about 8 miles). The Southfork Cafe' is on main street about three doors south and across the street from the River Falls movie theater. Check in on the Club Repeater (147.330 MHz, tone of 110.9), or the RACES Repeater (145.130 MHz, tone of 110.9), around 7:30 am if you need directions. Everyone is welcome.

RACES/SCVRA Net

Monday nights at 7:00 on the 145.130 MHz, tone of 110.9, repeater is the time for the weekly RACES/SCVRA nets. The RACES (Radio Amateur Civil Emergency Service) net is for RACES members only, however, all amateur operators are welcome to check-in to the SCVRA portion of the net which is held immediately after the RACES net. There is often important information passed along on these nets so please try to check in regularly. The SCVRA net is the place to announce items you may want to buy, sell, or trade. If you are interested in volunteering as net control operator for the RACES net contact Dave Kaun.
