Some Uncharted Evening: Take Three

On February 25, 26 & 27, RFCT will be staging a dessert theater of two one-act plays  and a one-man cabaret of music and stories. As in the past the River Falls Golf Club will be the  venue and cheese cake, pie and fruit will be on the menu.

The entertainment will be varied. The one-act play "Three on a Bench" is directed by David Cronk  and Sandee Blakeley. Cast members include Mary Cashman, Dale Ebben, Holly Sponsler and Chad Sundermeyer.  "HeartBeats: Tales and Tunes" is written and performed by Rick Burgsteiner. David Markson is directing "Stay, Carl, Stay".  Members of that cast are Peter Bloch, Stephanie Aerlyn-Buchan, Jake Jacobson, Kari Hussey and Penny Bohn.

Performance times are 7:30 PM. for dessert with the show to follow on Friday, February 25, and Saturday,  February 26. Sunday, February 27 will begin at 1:30 PM. Tickets are $11.00 and will be available at the Bookpress  Bookstore (715 426- 9993) for RFCT members during the first week of February, and for the general public after February 14th.  Seating is limited so get your reservations early.

The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe

A dramatization by Joseph Robinette, based on the story by C.S. Lewis

The spring play will be "The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe". The play will be directed by Duane Werner  (you saw him as Long John Silver in "Treasure Island" and as George in "Moon Over Buffalo" last fall). He is looking  for a cast of 20-25, school-age through adult. Many "animals" will be needed for this play: actors to play wolves, beavers and squirrels, plus dwarves and Aslan, the great lion.

Auditions will be held on Tuesday, March 7th, and Thursday, March 9th, as the Meyer Middle School Library at 7:00 PM.  Performance dates are May 12, 13, 19, 20, and 21 at the River Falls High School. 

All types of production staff are needed, especially an assistant director, stage manager, and production manager.  If you are interested in being involved in any way please give Duane a call at 426-5435.
