Auditions

CHILDREN’S WORKSHOP August 4 – 8, afternoons

RFCT is pleased to offer a performance-oriented theatre workshop for children, directed by Prairie Fire Children’s Theatre, ending with two public performances of Beauty and the Beast.

We are seeking up to 75 children, ages 7 through 15, to audition for the show and participate in the workshop.

Registration begins promptly at 12 noon, Monday, August 4, at the Meyer Middle School (MMS) Auditorium, 230 N. Ninth St, River Falls, WI
(
map).

Auditions by co-directors from Prairie Fire Children’s Theater and a short orientation for actors selected to be in the cast will follow registration. Please plan on at least 3 hour for registration, auditions and orientation on Monday.

The workshop and rehearsals will be held on Tuesday – Friday afternoons, at the MMS auditorium. Participation in all rehearsals is mandatory for actors appearing in the public performances.

Participation fee: $25; $15 for RFCT members, and for additional family members. Please make checks to River Falls Community Theatre.

Please note: We can accommodate up to 75 children in the show. If more than 75 children attend the audition, some children may not be selected to be part of the cast. In that case, your check will be returned to you at the end of auditions. It should also be understood that, in fairness to children not selected and already sent home, there will be no refund should your child be cast in a part and elect not to participate.

For more information, please contact Steve Preisler: price_stevens@msn.com or 715-629-7147.

Unless specified otherwise, auditions are at the River Falls Academy, 211 N. Fremont St (
