Member Benefits

Training Opportunities: Training is available through two educational conferences and the annual International Conference.

Legislative Representation:
IAWP represents each member in the nation's capitol. Dues help finance a legislative liaison who speaks directly to our representatives. A grassroots legislative network at the local level helps keep members and congress informed of workforce development issues.

Communication: You'll receive the Workforce Professional publication which features workforce development trends, association business, book reviews and workplace tips.

Recognition: There are individual and group achievement award programs at the international levels.

Savings: You'll qualify for savings on services such as discounted travel services and hotel reservations, car rental discounts, credit card programs and low-cost group medical, life and auto insurance plans.

Networking:
Membership gives you numerous opportunities to meet and exchange ideas with people just like you. Whether they are from the next county or the next country, you'll find common things that will help you increase your effectiveness both personally and professionally. Networking happens at any of the IAWP functions, whether it is a subchapter, state or international conference or workshops provided by the association.

Service To Community: IAWP prides itself with being active in community service projects. You get back from the community what you put into it. IAWP sponsors projects such as adopt-a-family, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, telethons, Santa-for-Seniors, disaster relief and food bank donations.
