  2006     CHAMPIONSHIP RULES     2006

1)        Each of the sponsoring events will donate FIFTY dollars for each division, Street Legal, Street Mod, FWD Mod, 4000 Open, and Improved Stock. ($250)

2)        Each driver pays a one-time fee of TWENTY-FIVE dollars for each division they want to sign up for.

3)        Drivers MUST sign up on or before the 1st scheduled event. There will be NO REFUNDS once the first event starts!

4)        This money will be paid out in addition to any of the events own payouts.

5)        A current WWTP inspection sticker must be affixed.

Points will be awarded in the following manner:

1)        Points shall be awarded based upon the finish position of the vehicle for each weight class, 5500 & 6200 classes.

2)        Hook points shall be given to a vehicle that has legally entered the event. (15 hook points per class)

3)        The following point system will be utilized.

1st place - 15 points+ 15 hook points = 30 points.

2nd place - 14 points + 15 hook points = 29 points.

3rd place - 13 points + 15 hook points = 28 points.

4th place - 12 points + 15 hook points = 27 points.

5th place - I 1, points+ 15 hook points = 26 points.

6th place - 10 points + 15 hook points = 25 points.

7th place – 9 points + 15 hook points = 24 points.

8th place - 8 points + 15 hook points = 23 points.

9th place - 7 points + 15 hook points = 22 points.

10th place - 6 points + 15 hook points = 21 points.

11th place - 5 points+ 15 hook points = 20 points.

12th place - 4 points + 15 hook points = 19 points.

13th place - 3 points+ 15 hook points = 18 points.

14th place - 2 points + 15 hook points = 17 points.

15th place - l point + 15 hook points = 16 points.

16th to the end of class 15 hook points = 15 points.

** Note: in an event that has only one weight class, double points will be awarded (excluding 4000).

4)        Hook points only will be given for any disqualification that happens on the track. 0 points for any disqualification that happens off the track, i.e. speeding or drinking and etc.

5)        When a non points truck places it will not take points away from the trucks in the points If he got 1st place, and you got 2nd place, you would receive the 30 points for 1st place.

6)        Each truck must throw out/or not attend ONE event during the season. If you make all the events that are for points, you may throw out your one worst event. An event is both weights in that class at that pull location.

7)        In the event of a rain out only trucks with drivers physically present and signed up will be awarded points.

Tiebreaker (End of Events)

1)        l. If the end of event points race result in a tie, the following formula will be used to break the tie. Using the greatest number of 1st place wins will break the tie. If a tie still exists, 2nd place finishes, 3rd place finishes, and so on will be counted until the tie is broken.

2)        2. In the case of weather or sled breakage if the class can’t be finished, hook points will be given, and place points given only if the class payout is paid.

Season Championship Payout

The purse will be made up as follows.

1)        FIFTY dollars times X number of events = $XXX.XX per division. TWENTY FIVE dollars times X number of drivers per division = $XXX.XX.

2)        For example (example only!): 50 X 16 = $800.00, 25 X 10 = 250.00, total $1050.00.  1st place at 60% = 630.00, 2nd place at 25º/o = 262.50, 3rd place at 15% = 157.50, per division.

3)        Payout percentages per division are 1st Place 60%, 2nd P1ace 25%, 3rd Place 15%.

4)        If this contest is called off by WESTERN WISCONSIN TRUCK PULLERS for any reason, any and all money paid in will be refunded.

5)        WESTERN WISCONSIN TRUCK PULLERS reserves the final authority to settle any questions or disputes regarding point awards.

6)        Payout will be paid out at the fall drivers meeting.
