Helmets
At Kinni Valley Riding Academy, LLC, safety is our utmost concern.  All students are required to wear riding helmets while riding.  Helmets are provided by the Academy during your lesson time for no additional charge.  Helmets are also available for sale through our on-site tack shop for those students that would like to have their own riding helmets.

Shoes
Riding students must wear a shoe or boot with a hard, flat sole, and a ½ inch to ¾ inch heel.  Tennis shoes or shoes and boots with thick lug soles may become stuck in stirrups and are not acceptable for riding.

Clothes
Kinni Valley Academy, LLC, offers lessons in our heated and insulated indoor arena.  The arena is cool during the summer and heated to 50 degrees in the winter.  Riders must wear long pants to lessons, but may wear whatever other comfortable clothes they like to suit these temperature conditions.
