Utilize your ISLAND NEWS subscriber ID card at each business to qualify for these discounts.

UPDATE: The number of participants in the discount program has been significantly reduced due to the fact that when Island News contacts them for updating many claim no one comes in for the discounts. This results in the few times a subscriber does ask for the discount the merchant or merchants employees have forgotten or are otherwise unaware of their participation.

We are therefore attempting to concentrate the participation to those areas where subscribers will participate often enough to make an impact and also realise the savings that the program is intended to generate without the complications of dealing with a merchant who is not aware.

Although the savings offered by the dinning establishments is small on a one time basis, a few have been retained to test whether this new approach has merit. Please consider patronising them when dinning out.
