In the last several years many papers about LUTEIN have been published. In fact the list is so long that referencing them here would be impracticle. However a recently announced search engine that attempts to list only science information is an excellent source. Go to http//:www.scirus.com and do a search for lutein. While this will result in many literature references, actually viewing many of them requires being a subscriber to information services such as Med Line. Also as of 5/xx/01 this search engine does not appear to work properly with Netscape, but this may be resolved.
