The River Falls Fire Department provides many services to the River Falls community. RFFD provides rescue helpers and fire suppression. My favorite thing I like about the River Falls Fire Department is when they come to Greenwood and talk to us about fire safety.
Gary Eloranta (a.k.a. Stump) is a member of the RFFD. Stump’s responsibilities are to train the firefighters.
He is also an Emergency Medical Technician. The materials that he uses are: the Jaws of Life, fire trucks, water hoses, oxygen, and a defibrillator.
People in our community depend on each other. Stump says that people depend on the River Falls Fire Department to care for and transport of the sick and injured, fire and for suppression, and rescue. RFFD depends on people in the River Falls community for equipment and training.
Stump Eloranta lives and works in River Falls because he thinks that it is a nice community. Stump would like to see more parks in our town. One of Stump’s favorite things about our community is that it’s a small town and that we have a lot of opportunities for others.
