Knowles Center provides many services to the River Falls Community. They provide a rental space for youth sports, and help create money for the local community. My favorite parts are the nice people who work there and all of the sport things they have to do.
Ben Fraser is the Assistant Director of the sport facility at the U.W.R.F Knowles Center. Ben’s responsibilities are to schedule staff, train, and execute for the facility. He finds groups to rent the facility. Ben’s also in charge of concessions and he designs Kansas City Chief apparel. The materials Ben uses are: zambonis, computers, tenants, internet, email, H2orange, and telephones.
People in our community depend on each other. Ben said our town depends on the Knowles Center greatly for the recreation space in the River Falls community to help community members live a healthy lifestyle. Knowles Center depends on the community to help with the facility operation expenses but they could survive because they are run by the State of Wisconsin.
Ben works in River Falls because it is a community with a lot of growth opportunity and it is close to the cities. Ben would like to see better parks and facilities for youth to play in. One of the things he likes about the community is the small town feeling and being a part of the U.W.R.F.
