On Monday, March 21, 2009, I went to Freeman Drug to interview Colleen Horeish.
Colleen is a worker at Freeman Drug. Freeman Drug provides the people in our
Community with prescription medications, over the counter medicines, and DME. It also provides shoes and local author books.
Colleen’s responsibilities are: to check prescriptions, council patients, and talk with insurance companies. Colleen also supervises technicians. The materials she uses at her work are: computer, telephone, counting the money, and her brain.
The people in the community depend on Colleen by: getting information, guidance, and help with health care. Freeman Drug depends on the community for business.
Colleen works in our community because she likes the small town feel and an independent store. Colleen would like to keep the community the way it is but she would like good support for small businesses. Colleen likes the Main Street idea, and the college town.
I asked Colleen “How long have you been in business??”
Colleen said, “The year it was opened was 1872-2009.”
