You are looking at the back of my brain, as seen through the microscope that
the surgeon uses throughout the operation. The skull cut has been made, and you can see
that the C-1 and C-2 vertebrae have also been cut. The cloudy web-like stuff you see in
the center are adhesions, which are about to be removed.
You can also see the cerebellar tonsils are herniated
down to the C-2 vertabra, about 20 mm.
