| When Joshsua was born the drs. did not give us any hope that he would live. At several months old his dr. told his home health nurse to just come out and "moniter" Joshua as there was nothing there (Implying he was a vegatable mentally). We were also told because of the paralysis he would never walk. Well, he is still alive, attends Kindergarden and did walk with the help of RGO Braces. I truly believe God has a major plan for Joshua. He has already touched so many lives and inspired so many. By God's grace and thru the power of prayer Joshua is today, a beautiful, bright 7 yr. old. Granted we have had many a cross to carry and many more to go, but God has always carried us thru. (Many a times I looked behind to see only one set of footprints.) Joshua has made it thru 17 surgeries, lung failure 33 days on ECMO (total lung bypass) and 60 days on life support. He did not slow down when his voice was taken away by the placement of a permanent trach, so that he could breath better. Now on March 2nd, Joshua faces the biggest surgery of his life so far, A Posterior Fossa decompression, Duragraft and a Laninectomy, "Brain Surgery".
