After considerable discussion your board of directors have decided to proceed on the hiring of a rink manager on a part time contracted basis. The key roles for this person will be to increase revenue to the association, maintain the building/equipment and be dedicated to improving the association. We have been blessed with individuals in the past that have donated hundreds of hours of their time to provide the facility that we have. This work is mostly behind the scenes which isn't a luxury we currently have or can sustain. With this role, the rink manager will report directly to the board of directors and will be focused on rink management and improvement throughout the hockey season. It's important to understand that this position is to be a net gain to the association for revenue. The

To improve ice arena operations and bring in additional revenue the Amery Youth Hockey Association (AYHA) is entertaining bids for a Contracted Part time Rink Manager position that will be in place from approximately November through April. (Approximately 30 hours/week) Duties shall include the following:

The
approved bid would need to fit within the AYHA board approved budget and would
need experience commensurate with the handling of this position for a Hockey
arena. Position requires excellent interpersonal,
communication, organizational, leadership, negotiation, conflict resolution, and
strategic selling skills. Proven networking, relationship-building and effective
team skills are essential.
