AMERY YOUTH HOCKEY ASSOCIATION
POLICY & PROCEDURE MANUAL

Policy/Procedure: GOALIE EQUIPMENT -- Policy E

Approved:  November 29, 1994; revised July, 1997

It is the policy of the AYHA to provide goalie equipment for players at all levels within the Association.

Goalie equipment will be distributed at the start of the season to goalies and collected after the season has ended.  The AYHA will provide only 1 set of goalie equipment for each level within the Association (i.e.. 1-MiteA; 1- Mite C; 1 – Squirt A, etc.)

Players who require equipment during the remainder of the year to play in hockey camps or other leagues can make arrangements with the Board committee responsible for equipment to borrow AYHA goalie equipment to attend these sessions.

If the parents of a goalie are willing to pay for half of the cost of goalie equipment for their child, it will be the policy of the AYHA to allow the player to retain the equipment until they have outgrown the equipment.  At that time, the equipment will be retained by the AYHA.
