events we will need help with concessions, security and
cleanup. All hours worked will go towards your summer work
hours.
For march 25th at Amery high school. Dinner starts promptly at 6:30 awards and the annual/meeting to follow at 7:30. Elections will be held for three retiring board members. If you are interested in being on the hockey board please contact one of the current board members to have your name put on the official ballot.
The season is over but it was a phenomenal year, The team ended up with a 16-7-1 record, one of the best in years. We also tied New Richmond for the middle boarder conference champion and will be hanging up a new banner in the rink very soon!

This year four seniors are eligible for the John Legut memorial scholarship. The Amery HS awards night is May 19th. The scholarship applications will be due April 19th. We will meet as a selection committee before May 1st.
The compressor will be shut down on March 12 after open skating.
The Squirt B team is going to State! We beat Burnett County 9-1 and tied Ashland 2-2 but won the tie breaker
The outside rink is a public rink. Hockey player and recreational skaters need to make sure they share the ice fairly. For children under 14, supervision is required. Hockey players must ware helmets.
Fundraisers
Diner's Delight Coupon Books and Raffle Tickets are now available. You can pick up your books during Tuesday and Thursday 6:30 to 9:00 (also you can drop off your sales money with me at these times). Also check out the online fundraiser for Amery Youth Hockey at magfundraising.com, go under find group tab and enter AYHA. 40% of the profit will go to Amery Youth Hockey. AYHA would like to be able to offer its new members at the Mini Mite/Mite levels and any girls who are interested in skating for Amery, the opportunity to rent or borrow equipment from our association for their first season with the association. It would also be nice to have the ability to rent out skates for our community open skating night. We are asking our association members to donate any used equipment that they no longer have a use for. We are looking for any size items. If you would like to donate equipment, please contact any of the AYHA Board Members or just bring it to the rink!!! Many kids have already benefited from this and we are trying to reach as many new skaters as possible.
WE are in great need of Helmets, Sticks and Skates!!!
