Char Farago, educator and historian is the presenter for both parts 1 and 2. Ghost towns along the St. Croix River are many - some in our own backyards. Come with us and find out where these towns were and what happened to the inhabitants.
 
December Holiday Event
Friday, December 4, 5-8:00 p.m. the museum will be open for tours and view the hobby railroad display.
Saturday and Sunday, December 5 & 6, 1-4 p.m.
Two afternoons of holiday fun, including Christmas Stories and Traditions, Holiday Crafts (take-home tree-trims).
Don't forget to take a look at the working hobby railroad. This is the museum's part of a festive weekend in the village of Afton. Come join us and get in the mood for the holidays.
 
Afton Historical Society Holiday Dinner
Thursday, January 21, 6:30 p.m.
Community Room at Memorial Lutheran Church in Afton
This is an enjoyable evening with good food and camaraderie. Make an evening of it with your neighbors and friends. Reserve a table. speaker information will be available later this year.
