This page will walk you through the configuration of Eudora. Although it is based on Eudora 6, the steps should follow for Eudora 5, as well.

The first time you open Eudora after installing it, the "New Account Wizard" should load. Click "Next" on the welcome screen.

Select "Create a brand new email account" and click "Next."

Enter your name as you wish it to show on outgoing mail, and click "Next" to continue.

Type your email address and click "Next."

For "Login Name," enter your PressEnter login name. Click "Next" to continue.

For "Incoming Server," enter "pop.pressenter.com," and select a server type of "POP." Click "Next" to continue.

Enter "smtp.pressenter.com" for "Outgoing Server," and leave "Allow authentication" unchecked. Click "Next" to continue.

Click "Finish" to complete the wizard. Eudora is now set to send & receive mail.
