Unless otherwise indicated, all auditions are held at the River Falls Academy building, 211 N. Fremont St, Suite 203 (directions).

Auditions for One Acts
Saturday, 10 January, 1 p.m. at the River Falls Academy, Suite 203

We will be auditioning for 6 one act shows, seeking actors for 15 - 19 female roles and 9 male roles.

The shows and directors are:

  • CONTROLLING INTEREST by Wayne Rawley, directed by David Markson
  • DINNER PLANS by Vicki Bartholomew, directed by Kay Lee Penton

  • ALBERT & THE LION; ALBERT RETURNS, directed by Bernie Brohaugh
  • FERRIS WHEEL by Mary Miller, directed by Sandee Blakeley

Auditions for Gooney Bird Greene

Auditions for Gooney Bird Greene and Her True Life Adventures the children's show will be held in early February (tentative dates Feb. 3-4), beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Academy. Rehearsals will begin the following week, contingent upon space availability.

Opportunities

Prairie Fire Children's Theatre Returns

This innovative children's theatre workshop will return next summer. The tentative dates are July 13-18, 2009. The show is The Wizard of Oz, which will be rehearsed and performed at Meyer Middle School. Auditions will be held Monday, July 13 at 12:30 p.m. It's open to children ages 7 through 18. There is a tuition charge of $25 (discount for RFCT members and multiple children in one family) for this one-week adventure into theater.

Arts in the River Falls area

We like to support and promote other area arts organizations and events. We provide links to other area arts sites to help you find out what is happening in the arts in the River Falls area. We are not, however, responsible for content or accuracy of those other sites.

RFCAB The River Falls Community Arts Base is a regional umbrella arts organization that promotes the arts and humanities. Among other activities, they sponsor Art on the Kinni in September and Music in the Park through the summer.
