Farmstead Flea Market
Saturdays from 7:30 a.m. to 2:00
p.m.
Sundays from noon to 4:00 p.m.
One of the finest flea markets around! You will enjoy searching through the 90+ year old dairy barn (part of the original farmstead of the museum) for treasurers you only dreamed about. The inventory changes weekly and is constantly being stocked, even during sale hours, by volunteers who make this shopping experience fun for all ages.
Our goal is to supply the community with a place to recycle their household goods and to share those treasurers with others. Donated items are fully tax deduct able to the extent allowed as the Heritage Center is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. We supply "receipts" the IRA accepts as proof of your donation and the donors (and shoppers as well) knows they are helping to support the Heritage Center as every penny raised through the Farmstead Flea Market goes directly to the museum for upkeep, programming, artifact collection and education. The Flea Market is 100% Volunteer driven!
Drop-Off Times for Flea Market Donation:
May through October
Tuesdays & Thursdays 9:00 a.m. to Noon
Saturdays 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

What Else Can a Visitor Do?
So, you are here on a weekend visit.
Or you are simply passing through and happen to see
the Museum sign on the barn. You stop. You take the tour.
You browse the Farmstead Flea Market.
Small kids wiggling and not ready to get back in the car? What else can you do?
Let them take a run in the Paperjack Greenway.
Just north of the barn and across a footbridge you will find our
11-acre nature trail area. A time-out in one of New Richmond's many parks
might be a good idea, too. Mary Park can be found on the south edge of the Willow River,
to the east of Knowles Avenue (main street) and has outstanding play areas and equipment.
Looking for more History? Take the self-guided tour of Historic
West First Street, off Knowles Avenue just before the Willow River bridge.
A walking guide is available at the Heritage Center and the Chamber of Commerce.
The WMCA is home to the Friday Aquatic Center, at 428 Starr Avenue, and offers a beautiful indoor swimming pool with all the amenities including an exercise center and gym.
Time for golf? The New Richmond Golf Club has two courses:
the 18-Hole Championship Course and the 9-Hole Links Course.
Other courses can be found close by as well.
If you wish, head north on Hwy. 65, about five miles to Star Prairie.
Walk the 100 year-old Star Prairie Trout Farm with its myriad pools of try your luck at
fishing for the trout; it can be cleaned and frozen while you wait to take home.
Or turn west on Fourth Street and seven miles later you'll be in Somerset,
the floating (as in inner-tubes) capital of the world.
